Poás Volcano
With 2,700 meters high, the Poás Volcano has three craters.
The Sombrilla de Pobre trail, one of the three in the Poás Volcano National Park, will take you to a spectacular viewpoint from which to observe one of the craters of this volcano.
The tour takes 10 or 15 minutes. It is a must as you will enjoy a unique fauna and flora.
Arenal volcano
It has been considered one of the most active volcanoes in Costa Rica, and this has made it one of the biggest tourist attractions in the area.
Around it, there is a rainforest of more than 12,000 hectares with exceptional wildlife. The area surrounding the Arenal Volcano is also famous for its hot springs.
You can visit the Tabacon River and take a bath in its warm waters that, according to them, have healing and cosmetic properties.
Punta Leona
This reserve is one of the most vital in the Pacific sector of Costa Rica, both from a geographical and conservation point of view.
Punta Leona is currently home to the only remaining rainforests found in the transitional life zone between the southwestern and northwestern dry forests.
