After the opening of four traditional hotels in Italy, Alfonso Martino, the original founder thought that the future of the holiday would always be more SPA oriented.

Alfonso learned from National Geographic that the region known as La Garita de Alajuela in Costa Rica was included among the three areas with the best climate on the planet; dry, with light breezes and a temperature between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius throughout the year. He then decided to use La Garita as a cornerstone to create a world-class resort and Spa.
